"alright!"i said. so i walked him over he sniffed it and half reared but i held him down.then i backed away to wait for the next instruction.

Walk him up to it again and use your reins to keep him completely focused on it. I will come up and move the modle and tug on the reins only slightly, telling him to move with it. Whatever you do don't let him take his eyes off tht "cow" ."

"alright" i said. i whispered to Pete,"focuse boy, move with it, stay focused,"we went up to it and he didn't do anything, he just concentrated on it and walked around it with his eyes on the model.

I walked up to the modle and moved it to the left a little waiting for Petes reatachon before going to the right.

we went up and sniffed it, and Pete broke into a trot around it, so i let him move and let Pete do his thing.

we turned on his heels cause he knows roping and you do that there, and cantered to the other end and went around it.

sure thing!i dismounted and walked him around, then gave him a drink out of the bucket of water. then he laid down and i sat on top of him. what should we do after the break?

we'll work on sprints. we'll go out to the feild and race from one end to the other several times. this will help his stamina and get you use to the feel of his going fast and truning sharp!
