i walked into the stables feeling hot already. i walked to Dreamer to check on her and her new foal, Beam!Dreamer was doing fine but Beam was a little sweaty. so i took him out and tied him to a low post. i got out the sweat scraper and did it lightly on him.then i put him back in the stall and took out Dreamer and groomed her, too. then i turned the out together. i fed the rest of my horses then went to Sargent's stall. we were going to lunge today. i groomed him really good then put on his halter and lunge line. we went to the ring and i set up some trot poles and small oxers. we troted the trot poles then went around the ring at a canter then went over the jumps.i brought him to me then turned him out.

i smiled wen i walked to my stables. it was my birthday!i went to High Boy's stall and fed him. i put some gause on his cuts and then took him outside to groom him. he needed to get used to the outdoors again. he was really wound up so when i was done, i turned him out in the pasture. he bolted right when i let go of his halter. then he laid down and started eating grass. i laghed then went back to the stables. i cleanedhis stall then crossed the aisle to Sherrif's stall. he was sleeping, so i fed him quietly then he woke up. i groomed him then turned him out. Then i went to the mare's barn. there i got C.C. out and took our grooming tote outside to groom her. she was really curios, so after grooming was done, i decided to sort of "train" her.not realy, but just to get her used to nature and all the outdoors. first, i got on an old stump then leaned onto C.C. she pranced and gave a shrill whinniny so i jumped back on the stump i walked her round then tried again. she didn't do anything! then i mounted her. she pranced breifly, then walked me around!i rode her back to the stable and put her in her stall.

i ran to my stables and looked to see if my new horse Summer Surprise had arrived. luckily, she had!she looked wonderful. right away, i groomed her then tacked her up for 3-day eventing. first we did dressage. we just did walk and piaffe. her walk was a little jolty, so i brought out the water pool jump. we weren't going to jump it. instead, walking through it made her slow down and know the feeling of going smooth. i think it worked because when i tried it without the water it was a lot smoother.i brought her in then groomed her then fed her and turned Summer out.

sleepily i walked to the barn and took Pete out. he was also tired, so i groomed him then put on his halter and lung line. first i warmed him up at a slow trot. then since i saw some tension in his fetlocks, i brought out the water jump and like Summer, walked him thourgh it to loosen Pete's mucles. when he was done with that, i changed the lunge line to a lead so i could bare back jump him. we were going to do something pretty weird. instead of small oxers, i was going to take him over stadium jumping just for fun. we warmed up at a canter then started. the triple was a problem so then we turned back to the stables.i did t-touch on him in the pasture then let him loose.

i came in from the pasture with Dreamer and put her in her stall with Beam. it was the first time Beam had been without his momma. i let them see each other then took out Dreamer once again. i groomed her then put her in the paddock and let Beam go too. then i cleaned the troting harness and sulky. then i hitched up Dreamer. we went over to the track and troted around once at her normal speed. then i sped her up and it seemed like having Beam really improved her trotting skils, making her feel younger. then i breezed her for quarter if a mile then cooled her of and put her out with Beam.

i brought Queen out from the pasture and groomed her well. then i put on her racing saddle. i had just cleaned it, so she looked magnificent!i got her running martangle on and also the blinkers, and racing mask.i was going to see how she would do in a race. then, maybe i could get her trained in dirt.i cleaned her shoes then gathered some boarded racers* to see how she would do.while i waited, i cantered her around the track and breezed her for 20 lenghts then everyone was ready. we had a few bets on Queen, but lots of odds. we loaded into the gates and the bell rang. we started out strong and got to the front. we dropped to 5th but then i gave Queen her head and we won!it was so exciting. i slowed her down and dismounted. i gave her a good pat and kiss on the cheeck. they asked for a victory lap so we troted around the track then i brought her out of the noise. we went to the stables and i took all her tack of. then i clipped on the lunge line so i could cool her of. then i put her in the stall. * they are not on the game, just pretend.

i brought out Sheriff from his stall and groomed him then fed him. i gave him a sugar cube then turned him out. after that i brought in my new kitten, Peppy!i brought her the new toys i had picked up from the store. Peppy especially liked the plain ball. kinda weird, cause that was made for dogs, but i thought she might like to roll it around. and boy was i right!i let her go in an empty box stall so she would have room to play. i gave Peppy a bowl of milk and some cat chow then took out Pete. i groomed him outside and did some t-touch i had improved that you did on your horses tension spots and where major muscles were. so i did it on Petes fetlocks and withers. then i turned hi out.

i took a deep breath and walked into Queens stall. i hugged her for a long time and stroked her soothingly. i knew she would have a good home at Carole's, but i would still miss her. i turned her out in the front-most pasture so Carole could pick her up. i walked over to the stallion barn and got out Sweetie. i groomed him lots. i tacked him up for hunting and rode him to the largest pasture. i practised his stops directly from a canter.we did pretty good, but not as good as i have seen him do. i cooled him of then turned him out with Queen so she had some company. then i fed everyone and mucked out stalls. when i had finished it was getting dark so i went back to the house.

i came out from the house and saw Sherrif in the pasture closest to my house.i grabbed his mane and led him inside the barn. i groomed him well and tacked him up for reining.i took him out t the reining arena and practiced turning on his cannons. kindve like a sliding halt in that position turnning around. the first one we did slow and worked our way up.the last one we stumbled and fell. i was able to get out of the way under him and he was fine to, just a little sore on his hindquarters. i regroomed him , fed him, and filled his water bucket and put him in his stall.

i got out Beam to work with him and earn his trust with people. i took him outside and groomed him thouroughly. i clipped on a lead him and took him out for a "walk" you could say. we were just going to walk around my estate so he could observe nature. we wnt by the house and saw his mom, Dreamer, in a pasture. i chose a wood trail that we went down i was able to hop across a river, but Beam had to back up and start his funny canter. he made it over succesfully!we wound up back at the barn. i regroomed him and fed him and gave him a bucket-full of water and a peppermint.

i brought in my new filly, Ruby, and put her in a stall next to Pixie.i put some fresh bedding in her stall and gave her some water and hay.she looked perfect here at Bright Star. i think she and Beam would be perfect for each other. so i brought Beam from Dreamer's stall and put him accross the aisle from Ruby. i lowered the wooden planks that can come of so more of the bars showed so they could see each other. once i had them settled in together i brought out Pixie and put her on some cross ties. i began grooming and when i finished i put on a lunge line and started lunging her in the pasture. when i saw her canter it looked really smooth, wich was a good thing cause i would be vaulting on her. i switched the lungline to some laced reins, and hopped aboard bareback. i kept her at a staedy pace then when i gained enough confadence in her i put her on a post so she wouldn't spook and run off with me and i let go of the reins. she had a broad back, ideal for vaulting.then i closed my eyes without reins. when i thought it was enough i regained controll and gave he a pat on the neck. i unhitched her and led her back to the far end of the pasture close to the gate. i took off her halter and reins then let her go. seeing it was getting dark i headed back to the house.
