"OK great!" I say to Kiki, silently thanking her ten trillion times over, "You're the best!" I groom Pete and tack him up, and my excitement gets through to him. Yeah! I get to ride him in Cutting!!! I think to myself. This is going to be the best!!!

She looked great on him. i finished grooming Fable Gal then clipped on the lunge line.i did the same thing as i did with Goldie.her trot was a little sticky but the canter was BEAUTIFUL!of corse she doesn't need the trot because Fable Gal does Cross Country and the best pace for that is a canter.i cooled her down then turned her out for the morning.After that i took out Goldie to take her on a trail ride then hope to be back to see Pete.

you cannot guess how suprised i was to see that when i came back with Goldie Lilly had Fable Gal and Loving Pete groomed and fed. together they looked fantabulas!"thank you!"i cried. i ran up to my perfect horses and hugged them both.so nobody felt left out, i untacked Goldie then groomed her like crazy to match the other two.i put Goldie and Pete away then tacked up Fable Gal. i didn't have to groom her bacause Lilly already did.thanks again! i took her to a cross country course. we only went through it not doing any of the jumps.it was so fun.when we got back i puther tack away then turned her out.

*next day*
i packed my saddle bag then headed down to Caroles'. Pete came running up to me so i gave him a carrot.he neighed softly.i went to gat the lead rope to take Pete in. i saw Goldie then grabbed her halter as well. i knew Fable Gal was inside so i was glad i didn't have to take any more horses in!I put them in their stalls and said good-bye to them for i was going on a camping trip.when Fable Gal saw me she started prancing. i think she shared my exitement. i took her out then tied her to the isle posts. i groomed her really good. then i put her back and fed Goldie and Pete.then it was all about waiting.

while i was waiting for the last person to call, i took out Goldie to do a little bare-back. she stood pateintly as i groomed her then put on the bridle.she layed down for me to get up.it was so sweet!  i kissed her on the neck.we went to the round pen to trot over some bars.it was pretty quick,so Pete had some time to practise opstickles for the trail.he was a little spooked with the popping baloons, but otherwise fine. |

i was STILLLL waiting;come on peple!;join!so i decided to lunge Fable Gal . i took her out and groomed her. she was beautiful. :oi put the halter on and clipped the lungeline on. we were jumping small water jumps.i had to give her lots of extra line because she hadn't done water jumps before.if she bolted;you know the next chapter. ::)at first she thought is was a watering trough. :Dbut i showed her the difference.eventually she jumpoed them, but it took alot of work.*sigh* i led her back in then groomed and fed all of my four-legged friends.
so i could make sure everyone had an equal amount of work time, i turned out Goldie then groomed and tacked up Pete for a trail ride.on the trail we jumped over what seemed to be a deaf squirrl!the squirel stood perfectly still as we jumped over him.then there was a little steram.we walked across that so Pete could cool down.i could feel his nerves calming down for we had been cantering for what seemed like the longest time.he took 3 gigantic gulps then we turnede around. the stupid squirrel was STILL there. when we got back from the trail ride i untacked Pete then turned him out in the stallion pasture.

When Kiki told me about the squirrell I laughed really hard. "I'm going to ride Pete a TON while you're gone!" (sorry i didn't join the camping trip, i didn't see the post till 4 ppl had already joined)

i told her to ride Goldie if she wanted to so my other to horses wouldn't get lonly.

I'm grooming all your horses everyday, and today I rode Goldie over a TON of jumps. SHE LUVED IT!

"hi!im back" i cried when i saw Queen. she reared her full height then galloped as fast as she could."wow"i thoght,"maybe i should try to race her."i dismounted Fable Gal then led her to her stall.she was so glad to be home.i untacked her then went to check on Pete. he was really glad to see me i hugged him then fed him. i turned on my heels to go get Queen*.she was still running around looking like her heart was about to burst but she didn't even start to lather.so i decided to think about training her in turf.she slowed to a walk and came over to me. i slipped on the halter and swung myself up to cool her down with some bareback jumping.it felt good for me and Queen.
*i changed her stable name .

So Queen's Goldie, right? *sighs* "Queen's sooooooooo gorgeous!!!" I tell Kiki as she brings her in. "She looked great over the jumps!" As I help her cool Gol-Queen down, I notice that she's barely sweated at all! "She would be a great endurance horse!" I say to Kiki.

I arrive at the stable having been at Mango's all day and notice that Lilly and Kiki seemed to be having quite a time.  I take Abbervail out of his stall, groom him, and saddle him. After he is warmed up I school him over some 2 footers and then trot over to Lilly and Kiki. "Anyone for a trail ride?" I ask "You can ride Buck if you like Lilly." I offer "He REALLY needs to be ridden." |
