I groomed Diablo and then did T-Touch on him until he fell asleep. He luved it! I used Bear, cause that's what he likes most. I did the same to Legacy, and worked with her on her near hind hoof because she tries to kick you when you pick it. I did Racoon on her cause she was really stressed out. I also need to start Halter training them, as they are both Foals. ;D

NEXT DAY I went on a trail ride with my friend Emilee*. I rode her Quarter Horse, Gunner, and she rode her Pinto, Shoshone Omen. We started at a bored sort of walk, then we loped for quite a while. GREAT FUN!!!!!!!! We also loaded Gunner into the trailer and successfully got him out, which has never happened before. We basically had to retrain him.
*she's not on this game

Later that day... I gave Legacy a bath cause she rolled in the nasty, icky mud. Ugh. She loved it, though! You have to give Diablo sponge baths cause he hates being sprayed with anything. He's a little spooky. She let me pick up her hoof without her kicking today! It was great. I did more Bear on Diablo and some more Raccoon on Legacy. I visited Praying Hands Ranch and did some Lying Leopard on Solmaay. She's a Norwegian Fjord. GREAT FUN!

[glow=red,2,300]NEXT DAY[/i][/u][/glow]
RL The first two weeks of June are volunteer ride days at PHR!!! I'm soooo happy!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I'm going to be there, like 24/7, except I'm taking care of Gunner and Shone that month...
CMS Diablo's doing great with Halter training! Legacy's doing good, but she's not going as fast as big D (my nickname for Diablo (stupid, I know)). Anyway, Diablo's coat was starting to get a little dull, so I put some coat supplement's in his feed. He's still gorgeous, though!

NEXT DAY
Yeah, so... Nothing much goin on today. I didn't get far with Legacy, it turns out she pulled a muscle in her leg and noe of us noticed. It hurts when she picks it up, which is why she's been kicking. Not fun. Diablo's doing super, though!

Next Day[/b][/u]
I'm thinking of selling Legacy, she won't be worth much, but maybe someone will buy her... Her leg still isn't any better, but I'm keeping it wrapped and her in her stall or just a small turnout pen. *sighs* She's just as gorgeous as ever, but wow, what a little brat!
On a better note... Diablo is the best!!!!! He's almost finished with his Halter Training! He's doing so great! He'll be a JOY to ride once he's ready!
Flashy (Made You Look) is still a little frisky from getting unloaded and all, but she's awesome, and such a joy to ride!!! I ride her English, and she's a wonderful jumper! I'm going on a trail ride with her right now.
We also unloaded Gallant Glider, who is a little difficult, but he'll be super once he's settled down. I need to go buy tack for him...

Im quitting the NEXT DAY stuff, it was bugging me.
I'm riding Annie on a trail ride with Kiki and Carole, and at home, I'm working Glider a TON he luvs jumping, and I'm taking advantage of it. We're up to 4 feet! "YAY!"
I saddle up Glider and take him out to the arena. I trot him around a while to warm him up. As soon as he's ready, I do some trot poles, then jump an EASY crossrail. I can feel him getting excited, so I slow him down and trot around a couple times, just relaxing him. Then I jump him over the crossrail again, but he's MUCH calmer. We fly over the double oxer next on the course, and continue. I take him over a couple water jumps, then urge him into a canter. We approach the 3-foot nine jump, and he jumps at the perfect time! I urge him into a faster canter, we come to the 4-foot wall. He just flies over it, and i reward him with another 3-foot nine. I take off his saddle and grab a bare-back pad I left on the fence. I ride him bareback over some easy crossrails again to calm him down. We trot around a while, then just walk, enjoying every second of it. I'm soooo proud of him!
I bring him back to the barn, and give him a nice bath and put him in his stall. Tomorrow, Made You Look is going to be worked hard, too!

Flashy is trained in English, too, so I'm going to train her in jumping in June! For today, though... I'm just riding her around, getting a really good feel for her. Her trot is as smooth as butter's, but ouch! Her canter hurts! We'll have to work on that... I think, trying not to flop around TOO much. I decide to gallop her and see if that's any better. It is! Oh my gosh! I think, barely moving at all. She would be a great sprinter! She gallops her heart out for a few minutes, then loses interest in me. She slows to her torterous canter, and I bring her to a collected trot. I try her over some trot poles, and she does fine, but doesn't seem to like them much. Hopefully that'll work out. I bring her back to the barn and groom her and do some T-touch. Just Lying Leopard, nothing huge. She luvs Swipe of the Bears Paw, though!

This morning I saw Knight and Flashy "flirting" over the fence, so I've decided to breed them! The foal is due May 25, and I'm sooooooooo excited! Anyway, I rode Knight again today. He's such a joy!

Knight was REALLY enerjetic, so I decided to longe him before tacking him up. I had never longed him before, so I was excited too. It turns out that he has gorgeous gaits! I let him walk for a while, then moved him into a trot. Although at first he was really out of balance, he settled down and almost high-stepped! I was really happy with that, and, thinking he'd be a great dressage horse, moved him into a canter. Again, he was unbalanced in the beginning, but evened out much faster now. His canter was just GORGEOUS! I'd never seen him ridden or longed before, and I was shocked! I brought him to a trot again, then let him walk. I led him back to the barn and tacked him up. Since I didn't have a dressage saddle, I just used his jumping one, and did some in-hand training. He responded quickly, he's already learning the leg-yield! I was really happy, and went to the tack store to buy him some dressage tack. Suddenly, a thought occured to me. 3-day eventing! Dressage, Cross-Country Jumping, and Stadium Juming! He'd love it! I am soooo excited!!!

I've entered Knight in training for Dressage, and Flashy in training for Stadium Jumping! I am really excited, and I take lessons on both horses. Knight in 3-day eventing, and Flashy in Side-Saddle! I'm really excited for both!

I tacked up Knight and lunged him before riding him again. I actually lunged him over some jumps, but wasn't surprised that his form was great! I mounted, then rode him over some easy jumps, nothing hard today. I did some more in-hand training, and he did great! We worked more on the leg-yield, and he did great!
