as i unloaded Sherrif and thanked Mango for letting me use her trailer,Loving Pete saw him.boy did Pete not like the smell of Sherrif.for so long Pete had been my only stallion.Pete protected me,he helped me face myfear of jumping and now this. a new stallion."whoa boy," i said to Sherrif.all he did was move straight in front of me.Pete thought somthing had happened.Pete reared and... tried to jump the fence i let go of Sherrifs lead rope and ran to Pete.he was lying on the ground of the side of the pasture. he wasn't hurt at all,in fact ithought he was testing me to see if i still loved him even with the new stallion."of course i love you Pete," he seemed to understand and got up.i let go of his mane to get Sherrif.good thing he hadn't bolted or it could of been disasterous; if it hadn't alreardy.i picked up the rope then led him to his new stall.i wanted to put him next to Pete but fromwhat i had seen already, NO NO NO was the answer i think Pete would say if he could talk.and "the girls" in their stalls bared their teeth out as Sherrif went by.so far, nobody was liking Sherrif. i made sure 2 stalls seperated Sherrif from Pete;itd be risky to put him on the mares side.i had put some hay out prehand then gave him some barley.i just set the apple in the bucket with the barley, afraid he would nip my fingers. instead i took out Pete to lunge him.

*NEXT DAY*
i took out Fable Gal to groom her.I put her on the end farthest from Sherrif so we wouldn't disturb the other horses.sh felt a little tense in the tendon that she had pulled on the cross-country course so i did Racoon on her. all of a sudden when i felt her mucles loosen up, Sherrif kicked the side of his stall.i jumped and ran to see what had caused him to do that."hold it buddy," i siad franticlly trieing to calm him down.nothing seemed to be the matter, so i went back to Fable Gal.i put her in her stall andthen took out Queenie. today i was going to see how she liked turf racing.i took her to the course borrowing Caroles raceing saddle.Queenie didn't have the ancestrey to race but the other day in the pasture she looked really good for it.i had my stopwatch ready but i would only take her one furlong not at her full speed.then slowly we rose to a full gallop then raced. it was amazing!her time was so good i imagined what it wouldve been at her utmost speed. i slowed her then headed back to the stables at a trot.back at the stables i untacked Queenie then snaped on the lunge line to cool her down. i hugged her and kissed her on the cheeck. :-*i just walked herover some ditches of water then turned her out.
