Rolling Hills Stable

[Mango]

I went out and got Montie and brought him in i groomed and tacked him up then lead him out with Bo on our heels. I mounted and head into the forest on one of my trails. We set off at a nice walk and started trotting i asked him to lenthin and we did and i sat deep in the saddle insted of posting. after giving a few mintutes to warm up i asked for a collected canter adn we started off. after about 5 mintues i asked for a walk and i cooled him some coming to one of my feilds with log jumps dotted over it i ask for a canter again and we went over some 2 and 3 foot log jumps Montie snorted with deleite. we slowed downa dn i cooled him out we walked back to the barn and i untacked him then hosed him downa dn turned him back out. i went back into the stallion barn and got Reb and Will and turned both out for the night. I went into the mares barn and grained them all and made sure they all had ay and water for the night. I got Moon's grain and took it too her with a bottle of rescue remidy which i put in her water then pulled out the lavender oil and put a little on my fingers and mesaged it into her nose and neck. I left her almost alseep to go find Bo and head to the house.

I went into Dorados stall with a halter and some lavender oil. i put the halter up to his nose letting him sniff it adn get use to it then ran it all over his body untill he did't prance around anymore. i again brought it to his head and after he looked claim with it slowly eased it on. He balked at first then relaxed and let me clip it. I talked to him all the while to keep him claim. after about 5 mints i took the halter off and gave him a horse cube as a treat i gave him a kiss and left to go to Laceys stall and work with her. I did the same ruten and cam out after about 15 mintes and went to put the halter and lavender oil away.

I stepped in twists stall when i came down to the barna dn saw her dutifully licking her new foal! "Oh Twist!!!" I reached downa nd touched the still wet Foal. I looked another Girl!!! I smiled adn went to finishes my rounds and checked on all my mares. I grained them with Mare & Foal in there feeds then went to make sure Twist and her new foal was ok. I then went out and brought all my stallions in. I put them in there stalls and gave them each a little grain. I went out adn clled to Bo who was hunting a squarrle "Silly dog!" i went back into the mare barn and put Maryjane,May,Glory,Addy,Liana, Rose and put them on the hotwalker, i went and turned Twist and her filly out in and empty paddock and went to give Patty some hay and water she was being bred again today. i went into my office and went to call Kiki to see if she could ride again today.

i trotted up on Ruby and said, "hi Mango!i got your call and i will ride Nite and Dawn."i jumped off Ruby and gave her a apple slice.i swiped a bunch of mane of her fore-head and over her eye. it looked beautiful. she shook her head though and it landed right back where it was."girl....."i sighed. i went down the aisle to Nite and said"hi there boy!im gonna ride ya today"i patted him then started grooming the big guy.i finished him off then went to the tack-room and got his tack.i finished off the throut-latch on his bridle and his girth.i didn't know much about dressage, but knew how to ride it.i took Nite to a old stump that was pretty high so it would be easier for me to leap aboard his big back.i managed to get up there and ckucked to him. we startd to the ring and started figure 8's.then i did piaffe. he looked magnifecent. we did a flying change into a canter and circled till E.then we started the special walk, and his long forelock fell down off his ose. i smiled then exneted to a trot, then cooled off. i untacked the big boy, then hosed him off.i put him in his stall and then headed to Dawn."hi DAwn,"i said. i groomed him thouroughly then tacked him up for dressage again.we went over the same thing exept for the flying change and piaffe, for MAngo had mentioned he hadn't learned that yet.so finished him off then cooled him down. i untacked Dawn and hosed him off then put him in his stall with a carrot."bye Mango!"i jumped upon Ruby then trotted home.

I leaned out of my office "Thanks much Kiki, See you tomorrow!" I walked out and brought all my mares in and grained them with Mare & Foal then turned all my stallions out for the night. I went back into Dorados stall and did the same as last night but left the Halter on for 10 mintes same with Lacey and Neddy. I called to Bo and we went up to the house.

i came up on Pete looking for some action."hey MAngo!ready to ride!"i dismouted Pete and took out the water bottle from the saddle bag.i took a drink then let Pete have some.i screwed on the cap and put it back in the back then went to Reb."hi boy!"i said. i grabbed the grooming kit and started to work on him.i got his trail saddle and bridle. i tacked him up outside then mounted.i steered him to the trail and started at a slow trot.we wwent over a samll log like a trot pole then sped him up to a canter.we went over the strem with a log on the other side and did a plain log.then i started gallopping him.we plunged into a river and crossed it into a large feild.we went around it a few times then i brought him back to Mango's stables.i untacked and hosed him off and said,"you did good on that class Reb!"i blew him a kiss then went to Will's stall with the groming supplies."hi there fella!"i greeted him.i put him in cross-ties and started grooming him.i finished and got his saddle and bridle out and tacked him up. i led him outside to the ring and moutned up on Will. we raced to the end off the ring after warming up over trot poles and raced back to practise his quick starting speed."good boy,"i said giving him a pat.then we did tight circles and did some work with the fake calf.then i cooled him off then untacked him and hosed him ofgf."bye MAngo!"i said."see ya tommorow!"i mounted Pete and said,"trot,"and we trotted home.

I walked in and told Bo to go play i walked into the mare barn and grained them all giveing a little extra to Glory who was due in 3 days. i went out and brought all my stallions in and gave them a little feed i went back to my mares and put Rose,Patty,Addy,Liana, and May on the hotwalker and turned glory out to graze. I kept Twist and Moon into be riden and bred. i went inot the stallions barn and turned Will and Reb out to graze keeping Dawn and Nite for Kiki. i went to the message board and wrote on it for her *Memo* Kiki wouold you please ride twist and Moon for me? they both need it bad.* I finished and went to start mucking the mares stalls.

i rode in on Rus and dismounted him.i got my water bottle and gave Rus and i a sip then went to the stables.i noticed my name on the message board and read it.i took of the cap of the marker and rote,"sure!"and i walked to the mare barn."hi Twist!"i said.i walked in her stall with the grooming supplies.i groomed her down well then put her in cross-ties. i hitched up the driving harnness and did all the straps.when i finished i drove her out and to the indoor ring.we did large figure eights at a walk then a trot then cantered around the ring.it was just like Blue and Jack!i cooled her off then we headed back to the tsbales.i untacked Twist and hosed her offff.then i put her in the stall labled "Twist Of Lime".i latched the door then crossed the aisle to Moon."hey there girl!"i said greeting the mare.i grooemd her and tacked her up for english pleasure, for i had to do dressage lots after her. i led her to the out-door arena and mounted after setting up trot-poles.we walked around the ring once then trotted over the poles.i cantered her around in figure eights then did the trot-poles one more time for cool-off.i brought her back to the stables and untacked her,hosed her of, and latched her stall door.then i jogged over to the stallions.i walked to Nites stall and said,"hi Nite!"i got his tack and grooming things and groomed him then tacked him up for dressage.i rode him out of the stable and into the mist as we headed towards the arena.i warmed him up with walks colected and extended and trots both ways to. then we did flying change from trot to canter then as we approached "D" did Piaffe diagonly accross the ring.i trooted him more then cooled Nite off.i untacked him and sponged him a little then went to Daawn for more dressage.i groomed him and tacked Dawn up and we did the same course without Piaffe and flying change. i untacked him and hosed him down then went home on Rus."bye Mango!"i called.

Thanks bunches Kiki!!! i went into the stallion barn and turned the stallions out aand went adn turned twist and moon out then went up to the house for dinner before coming down and riding in the dark on Montie.

i came galloping up the drive on Nevada, then dismounted her when wwe got to the barn. "hi will!"i said seeing Will in the oasture.i caught him and took him to his stall for grooming.i finished then got his saddle and bridle.i tacked him up then went to the arena.i ounted after setting up ssmall oxers then i cantered and trotted him first.then i took him over the oxers for warm-up tthen i started with the cow.we trotted around it and did fetlock turns to make sure the "cow didn't run aay". we raced to the end of the ring and back then cooled him out over some poles and oxers.then i untacked him and turned him back out after hosing him down.i walked to Reb."hi Reb!"i called.i groomed him and tacked him up.we rode through the woods and into a feild.we chassed after a deer for fun until it went in oits hole.we went back to the stable and i untacked and osed him off.then i mounted Nevada and galopped back home.

"Thanks Kiki!(I'm not sure deer live in holes though!) i walked into the amre barn and grained them all then went out and brought Dawn,Nite, and montie in for riding. I went back into the mare barn and put Twist,May,Patty,Rose,Moon,Maryjane,Addy,Missy on the hotwalker. I went backa nd turned Glory out she was due tomorrow. I went into the stallion barn and got Montie out and tacked him up. I lead him outside and mounted. we went intot he arena and warmed up then i took him in some circles we started at a low 2 footer and popped over. we went deep into the corner of the arena and headed for a 3 and a half Montie took off alittle early and clipped it but it didn't fall i let out the breath i was holding and we head toward the middle jump a 4 foot oxer i steady Montie and gave him a nudge we flew and landed with a grunt. i smiled and gave him a quike pat. we cantered threw another turn and headed toward a 3 ft In-And -Out. we wen threw it and i asked for a trot then a walk i gave him a big pat and a hug"That was great boy!" i cooled him out and untacked him then hosed him down. i turned him out to graze and went in to find Bo laying on the rug. "Well aren't we lazy!" I went back out and turned he mares out to graze and went into my office to sort threw some papers on my foals.

i drove Jack into the barnyard then jumped out of the seat. i loosended the starps of his harnees then went to find Daawn and Nite."hi there big fella!"i said smiling and Nite.i groomed him and tacked him up then rode him to the outdoor arena.we warmed up over 3 foot oxers(because Nites so big a 1 or 2 foot would seem like a shadow!)then i started him in a piaffe right away, then cantered around the ring extended then collected it.i did a little airs above grounds movement wher he reared for a quck moment then half-bucked. i smiled as we landed then collected the trot we moved into.then i cooled him of and untaked him and gave him a hosing. next i went to Dawn with the tack and grooming supplies. i groomed and tacked him up the rode to the arena.we warmed up over 1 and 2 foot oxers then started a collected trot.we did extended, then cantered collected and extended, tried a flying cheange and succeeded then i cooled him down. i untacked him and hosed him then drove down on the cart with Jack.

I walked into the barna nd grain all my mares and my new one Mustang Sally!! i went out and brought Montie,Re,and will in and put them in there stalls with a little grain hay and water. I went back to my mare barn with Bo at my side and put Liana,May,Twist,Patty,Maryjane,Missy,addy, and moon on teh hotwalker leaving Sally, and Gilly, and Glory in. I went took Montie out after putting Nelli my new kitten in the tackroom where Bo couldn't get at her. I groomed him and tacked him up then waited for Kiki to see if she wanted to ride with me.

(sorry i didn't ride yesterday.you don't have to pay me for that day.)i came up on Cloud and dismounted him.i patted the stallion then walked to the barn.i looked for Reb but i couldn't find him.i walked to Mango's desk and asked,"Mago, do you know where reb is?im supposed to ride him today."

[Mango]

Yeah he's in his stall, go get him and we'll ride together! i got Montie all ready.
