The gelding was kind of lazy today, but he was calm which was what I was in the mood for. I tacked him up in an all-around saddle and basic bridle, he wasn't going to act up much from the looks of this.
Warm:Up With a 2 laps of walk each way, 3 ways of trot each way and a few of the canter.
Flat:Work We worked heavily on the canter, collecting, extending, circles and bending. He was a dream and his canter really fixed up.

He was in a crazy hyper mood because I had given him a week off, and he was a bit to handle. After a good groom and tack up, that was rather long to calm him down, we made our way to the ring. Warm:Up We did walk for a few laps. Moving into the trot he was strong, and we worked alot on a slow trot before he was good enough for the canter. His canter was strong for a bit too, but easier than his trot.
Flat:Work We only did about 10 minutes of flat work, working on the trot to collect, extend, and leg yield. We did a bit of cantering on a 20 meter circle
Jumping We worked on trotting into a small 18" crossrail, and cantering out with energy but not hyperness. He went well.
