Turning Of Fall

i walked into the mare barn with the sound of crunching leaves trailing behind me.Macy and Peppy bolted into the lounge when i opened the door.Macy bounded up on the aarm chair and Peppy scurried behind the couch apparently chasing somthing. i sat down at the desk and looked at the computer. i shook the mouse to wake it up then turned in the swivel chair to face the papers of my new horses. i looked at Churchills then whited out Carole's name then blew on it. after it dried i wrote my name in with pen and did the same for the rest of my new horses. then i took the papers one by one and scanned them into my computer."there,"i said with a sigh. i turned of the minitor of the computer to see Peppy prance happilly out from behind the couch with a tail sticking out from her mouth." oh gosh Peppy that's just plain nasty,"i said as she sucked it up.i rolled my eyes as Macy bounded out of the door behind Peppy.replacing them came Tessa and Buddy who seemed to be in a trane by "Tessa's beuty".i rolled my eyes once more then went outside to Blue's stall.i took her out and groomed her. i tacked her up then hopped into the bugy behind the belgain. i tapped her with the whip and we went off. i took her around for a while then we returned home. i untacked her and regroomed then turned her out. i fed everybody and gave them water then went back to the house.

remembering my foals i said,"oh god,"and rushed to the stables.i first went to Dusty and groomed him down. i hand led him for 10 minutes then turned him out to graze. the i went to It's Illegal and groomed that pretty boy too.since he has jumping blood in him i led him over some tiny jumps. i heard his grunt of bordom so i raised the jumps to a foot high."id go higher but then i wouldn't be able to take you over them!"i told him. he cleared them all then i turned him out. Then i went to Strawberry in the mares barn.i groomed her and hand led her round. her movements were very gracefull.once i had cleared my name of foal neglection( ;D) i turned my attention to the older kids. i decided to get out Cloud. i hadn't worked him in a while.since i always rode him in hunter i decided to give him a workout in english pleasure. so i could correct my mistakes, i decided to set up a camera so i could watch it after my riding.so i went into the indoor arena and set up a video camera then came back to the stables and groomed Cloud. i tacked him up and mounted him. i warmed him up outside then took him inside where the camera was.first i walked him on the left lead then trotted to my right lead.i think we changed leads the opposite way, but all the proof was in the camera. we trotte don the right lead for a while then changed to left lead. that one i don't think had any mistakes. i walked him on the right lead then took him to a collected canter.then i extended it. then since he had such high a level i decided to try a counter canter with him. it worked perfectly!i patted him on the neck breifly then i slowed him to a walk to cool out. i took him back to the barn and untacked him. i hosed him off then regroomed him.i put him in his stall with some fresh water and feed.then i went to Pirate. i groomed him and lunged him for half a hour then turned him out with Keeper, Jack,Sherrif, and Pete. then i went to Phoenix. i did join-up with him and after did some bear t-touch. then i turned him out. then i got Churchill. i groomed him and tacked him up for saddle-seat. i didn't ride this style to much so i decided to get some lessons from Mango after this ride.i rode him some then turned him loose with the others after untacking him.6then i drove away to the grocery store and sign up for lessons.

i walked into the barn and to the stalls. i turned evrybody out so i could muck their stalls out.then i filled the water buckets and feed buckets and netsthen put them all back in their stalls.then i went to Callie.i took her lead and halter and clipped them on then hand led her around.after half an hour i turned her out on the hotwalker with Beauty,Fable Gal,Sundance,Cisco, River,and Missy. then i went to Nevada. i groomed her and tacked her up for the track.i raced her some then turned her out. i also turned the girls on the hotwalker out too. then i worked my boys and turned them out then headed up to the stables.

i walk into the stables feeling guilty not seeing my horses for the past few days. i go and clean the dusty tack and sweep the hay-full aisles then grain my horses. i take out Sherrif and groom him.i rack him up and mount him.i take him to the indoor ring for some exercise.i take him at a trot around the ring then a canter around twice.i set up some poles in a figure eight and we trot over them with all the twists and turns.we roll 2 of them at the curves but otherwise did fine. i store the poles away then take Sherrif over some jumps then i bring hi back to the stables and untack him. i give him a good shower then turn him out with the rest of the stallions. then i get Nevda and work her out some then turn hher out with the rest of the horses. then i heae in.

i drive in with the trailer and park it. i rush to the back and unload Prince!"Welcome back Prince!"i say and hug him around the neck. Then i lead him to the stall next to Bookster and put in some bedding. i feed him and give him water and do the same for all my horses then turn in.
